Description

  • Create demand and drive market engagement across Valtech’s focus industries in the UK.
  • Proactively identify and open doors with high-value target accounts through networking, outreach, campaigns, and market intelligence.
  • Generate and qualify early-stage opportunities and connect prospects with the appropriate Valtech experts.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and nurture high-potential prospects into deeper conversations.
  • Leverage existing networks to uncover referrals and warm introductions.
  • Ensure smooth handover of qualified leads to Business Development Executives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, European Growth Operations, and Vertical Portfolio Directors on targeted campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Capture and share market intelligence on client priorities, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
  • Represent Valtech at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Champion a collaborative growth culture across the UK team.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development, sales, or client engagement, ideally within digital consultancy, technology services, or agency environments.
  • Proven success in prospecting, opening enterprise accounts, and building pipeline.
  • Strong ability to build early-stage relationships and represent the company credibly in market.
  • A proactive, persistent, and creative hunter mindset for uncovering opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging decision-makers.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Full-time availability for a UK-based role.
  • Experience in a front-line growth role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with UK focus industries such as retail, CPG, manufacturing, travel and hospitality, automotive, financial services and insurance, or professional services is preferred.
