Description

  • Design and balance LiveOps events end-to-end, including goals, engagement outcomes, and calendar planning.
  • Own or contribute to the LiveOps calendar and event cadence.
  • Design and balance game economy systems, including hard currency pricing, sinks, taps, inflation control, and player value.
  • Own or contribute to feature unlock sequencing and progression pacing.
  • Design offers, event monetization loops, and itemization across consumable and non-consumable monetization.
  • Optimize monetization performance for in-app purchases and in-app advertising where applicable.
  • Use data to validate design assumptions and track event and economy performance.
  • Conduct A/B tests and use results to tune balance and improve post-launch outcomes.
  • Collaborate with product, analytics, art, and engineering teams on design decisions and implementation.
  • Communicate design intent, trade-offs, and priorities clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of game design experience in free-to-play mobile games.
  • Track record of shipped titles with experience and learnings in LiveOps.
  • Experience designing and balancing economies, including hard currency pricing and value perception.
  • Experience with sinks and taps design and balancing, inflation management, and long-term economy health.
  • Hands-on experience designing and balancing LiveOps events from concept to launch.
  • Experience with feature unlock sequencing and progression pacing.
  • Practical experience with monetization design, including offers, event monetization loops, and consumable vs. non-consumable item monetization.
  • Familiarity with in-app purchase and in-app advertising optimization.
  • Comfortable using data and metrics for balance tuning and post-launch iteration.
  • Excellent spoken and written English for collaboration and documentation.
  • Experience working on established or licensed IPs is preferred.
  • Experience with live games and frequent content or event cadences is preferred.
