Description

  • Own end-to-end UX strategy, including personas, journey maps, information architecture, and navigation.
  • Lead user research through interviews, usability testing, and workflow analysis.
  • Translate research into user flows, task flows, interaction models, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Design dashboards, score reports, configuration screens, onboarding, and in-product guidance.
  • Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library.
  • Create high-fidelity, accessible, responsive visual designs compliant with WCAG standards.
  • Design print and PDF layouts for reports and assessment materials.
  • Partner with Engineering on specifications, handoff, and design QA.
  • Define and track UX success metrics to inform product improvements.
  • Support and expand the Reach experience and design system after launch.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of product, UX, or UI design experience with depth in UX and visual/interaction design.
  • Experience as a founding or lead designer on a 0-to-1 or greenfield product.
  • Strong UX research skills, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
  • Experience creating and maintaining a design system or component library from scratch.
  • Proficiency in Figma or comparable tools for flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Experience designing multi-role platforms and complex, data-heavy interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design.
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and limited existing structure.
  • Experience in K-12 education, assessment, or clinical/behavioral health products preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, HTML/CSS, React/Next.js, or design mentorship preferred.
  • Remote work availability, occasional travel, and ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
