Description

  • Implement shipping-quality UI/UX designs directly in Unreal Engine and develop prototypes.
  • Break features into scoped tasks while identifying risks and dependencies early.
  • Architect scalable, data-driven UI systems that accommodate evolving designs.
  • Profile UI widgets and assets to manage performance and memory budgets.
  • Maintain consistent user experiences across PC, console, and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, engineers, and producers to improve projects and production workflows.
  • Create documentation and provide constructive quality feedback to team members.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of User Interface Technical Design experience in the game industry.
  • 1–2 years of Unreal Engine 5 experience in a design or UI/UX capacity on professional, academic, or personal projects.
  • Expertise with Unreal Engine implementation, including UMG, Blueprint scripting, and motion graphics.
  • Strong knowledge of UX and game design processes from concept through completion.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Miro, Axure, InVision, or comparable prototyping tools.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other art tools and with programming fundamentals.
  • Self-motivated, technically capable, and able to work independently in a small-team environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills; English proficiency at B2 or higher.
  • Passion for video games; multiplayer, live-service, shipped-game, and UX portfolio experience preferred.
  • Additional preferred experience includes Unreal ViewModels, materials, C++, Unity, Godot, or proprietary engines.
