Description

  • Partner with senior functional leaders as the primary advisor on compensation and headcount planning.
  • Participate in functional leadership meetings, offsites, and quarterly business reviews as an embedded member of the Talent Leadership Trio.
  • Advise on compensation decisions for hires, promotions, retention, reorganizations, and business transformations up to SVP level.
  • Interpret and apply job architecture, salary ranges, equity refresh frameworks, and recognition programs for business use.
  • Monitor market trends, pay practices, promotion velocity, and recognition patterns, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Facilitate and administer compensation cycles and off-cycle programs, supporting calibration and investment decisions with business context.
  • Provide structured feedback to centralized Compensation and Benefits teams on program effectiveness, edge cases, and evolving business needs.
  • Work with centralized Compensation and Equity teams when deeper expertise is needed.
  • Use the Compensation Analyst support resource for complex, project-based analyses and ensure efficient use of support resources.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Unity’s total rewards programs and market developments through ongoing collaboration with centralized teams.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in compensation, rewards, or total rewards consulting, preferably in a technology or high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise business leaders on compensation strategy, pay decisions, and market trends.
  • Familiarity with market pricing, incentive or bonus plan administration, or equity programs.
  • Ability to learn and scale quickly into advanced compensation areas as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills and spreadsheet proficiency.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with Workday, Pave, or similar systems preferred.
  • Sufficient English proficiency for frequent professional verbal and written communication with global colleagues and partners.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
  • Work visa or immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
