Description

  • Partner with Account Executives on opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proof-of-concept work, RFP responses, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions.
  • Lead the technical and product sales process by recommending best-practice solutions and guiding customers on how to use Twilio’s APIs.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with customer senior leadership by discovering technical needs and proposing innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Create and deliver complex, interactive product demonstrations that showcase Twilio Communications products to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Document team and organizational needs, assess their importance, and propose strategies to implement solutions.
  • Contribute to the broader Solutions Engineering community by sharing knowledge and creating reusable demo and presentation materials.
  • Mentor less experienced Presales Engineers and support peers as a facilitator or team leader.
  • Represent Twilio as a presenter at Twilio-sponsored, industry, and internal events.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of pre-sales experience selling complex technical products, or 12+ years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing delivery or consulting experience.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain product ROI across multiple use cases.
  • Ability to understand customer communications needs deeply and guide them to the right technical solution.
  • Strong customer engagement experience with a track record of supporting products and communicating value to customers.
  • Exceptional technical proficiency and thought leadership, with the ability to help shape team strategy.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and inspire across all organizational levels.
  • Customer-focused problem-solving ability with a balance of innovation and the customer’s best interests.
  • Experience with backend or web development technologies such as Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Vue.js, or Angular, plus REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud application architecture, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Security.
  • Experience with sales methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluent Portuguese and professional-level English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Preferred experience managing strategic accounts and evangelizing new use cases in Finance, Retail, Healthcare, or Hightech.
  • Preferred familiarity with OpenAI and ElevenLabs in addition to major cloud platforms.
  • Preferred previous technical experience in Telecommunications, SIP, WebRTC, or Contact Centre.
