Description

  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects to understand the full use case demand plan for prioritized customers.
  • Lead the post-sale technical account strategy and execution plan for major Databricks use cases in strategic accounts.
  • Serve as the accountable technical leader for assigned use cases and customers across multiple selling teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive customer onboarding, enablement, go-live, and healthy consumption of Databricks workloads.
  • Act as the first point of contact for technical issues and questions related to production and go-live status.
  • Coordinate with Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, Support, and expert technical teams to resolve work beyond your scope.
  • Create and own plans to accelerate key use cases into production, including coordinating Professional Services engagement proposals.
  • Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
  • Develop execution plans across product adoption, enablement, governance, cost control, and use case progression.
  • Provide internal and external KPI updates on customer health, risks, adoption, and usage to the Technical GM.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery in Data and AI.
  • Programming experience in Python or Spark.
  • Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
  • Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
  • Experience attributing business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables.
  • Technical program or project management experience, including account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
  • Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
  • Experience conducting open-ended discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex programs or projects.
  • Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
