Description

  • Manage the full sales cycle to acquire new customers and drive new revenue.
  • Qualify leads and close deals within self-service accounts.
  • Work with customers to understand their business and technical requirements.
  • Design solutions using Twilio’s communications API platform for specific use cases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Sales, Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
  • Use automation strategies to support a large volume of customers while protecting NPS and reducing churn.
  • Drive deals forward, remove obstacles, and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop expertise in the social impact and nonprofit market.
  • Balance multiple priorities and manage several projects or deals at once.

Requirements

  • At least 1+ years of closing sales experience or sales development/business development experience in a technical SaaS/CPaaS environment, with a record of top performance.
  • Understanding of, or interest in learning, the cloud computing and communications business model.
  • Technical solutions selling experience and comfort working directly with customers to listen and solve problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical and financial details simply.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing forecasts.
  • Analytical account development approach using data to identify opportunities and prove value.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and documentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Deep personal interest in the social impact market and in making a positive difference.
  • High adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and changing environment.
  • Remote role based in EST or CST time zones.
  • Occasional travel may be required for project or team in-person meetings.
