Description

  • Lead the sales process from lead generation through deal closure on complex opportunities.
  • Manage named account lists within the retail vertical to drive targeted engagement and revenue growth.
  • Drive client engagement by communicating the value proposition and supporting account expansion.
  • Own and exceed ambitious sales quotas while delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Spend time in person with clients and prospects to strengthen relationships and advance deals.
  • Manage complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders and vendor reviews across legal, security, and procurement.
  • Mentor junior team members through guidance, support, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and support teams to execute client initiatives and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to anticipate client needs.
  • Use AI tools to prioritize accounts, tailor pitch angles, and prepare for multi-stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales or account management in digital advertising or performance marketing.
  • Experience selling to enterprise brands.
  • Deep understanding of the digital media and advertising landscape, including CTV advertising.
  • Experience with digital media platforms, MMPs, or supporting tools, and working with major agencies.
  • Ability to drive complex deal cycles involving legal, security, procurement, and other stakeholders.
  • Clear specialization in an industry vertical such as retail, brand, or leisure.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing junior professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build rapport.
  • Comfort engaging with customers and agencies about digital media.
  • AI-first sales leadership mindset, including using AI for account research, pipeline strategy, and executive narratives while validating outputs against source data.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • MBA or advanced degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients or agencies, managing complex accounts and large budgets, preferred.
  • Certifications or training in digital advertising platforms, performance marketing, or related disciplines, preferred.
  • Based in the NYC area.
  • This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

  • Base salary range of $148,614 to $260,074 USD.
