Description

  • Lead the sales process from lead generation through deal closure for complex sales opportunities.
  • Manage named account lists within the assigned industry vertical to drive targeted engagement and revenue growth.
  • Specialize in the retail industry and tailor outreach to customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Drive revenue by communicating the product value proposition and managing client relationships.
  • Own ambitious quotas and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Handle complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders and vendor review processes such as legal, security, and procurement.
  • Spend significant face time with clients and prospects to strengthen relationships.
  • Mentor and support more junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, product, and support teams to execute client initiatives and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics to anticipate client needs.
  • Use AI tools to prioritize accounts, shape pitch angles, and prepare for multi-stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales or account management experience in digital advertising or performance marketing.
  • Experience selling to enterprise brands.
  • Deep understanding of the digital media and advertising landscape, including CTV advertising.
  • Experience with digital media platforms, MMPs, or supporting tools, especially with major agencies.
  • Ability to manage complex deal cycles involving legal, security, procurement, and other stakeholder reviews.
  • Clear specialization in an industry vertical such as retail, brand, or leisure.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing junior professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build rapport.
  • Comfort engaging in conversations with customers and agencies about digital media.
  • Comfortable using AI to speed up account research, pipeline strategy, and executive-ready narratives while validating outputs against source-of-truth data.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • MBA or advanced degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients or agencies, managing complex accounts and large budgets, preferred.
  • Certifications or training in digital advertising platforms, performance marketing, or related disciplines, preferred.
  • Based in the NYC area.
  • This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $148,614 to $260,074 USD for US-based applicants.
