Description

  • Design and build reliable, scalable frontend and backend systems for internal teams and external clients.
  • Drive the technical roadmap for the Client Portal domain and make architectural decisions for a multi-year platform consolidation.
  • Own services end-to-end, including design, implementation, deployment, and on-call support.
  • Build and maintain the Entity Configuration platform that other domain teams depend on.
  • Collaborate with other domain teams on cross-domain integrations using event-driven patterns and legacy system integrations.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions as the portal grows in scope and complexity.
  • Develop the OTP Client Portal as a unified client-facing application for dashboards, inventory views, configuration management, and content authoring.
  • Support content management tooling that lets clients author, edit, and publish communication templates.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to TrueML's engineering culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a senior or tech lead role.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Next.js.
  • Experience with Go.
  • Experience with AWS, especially Lambda, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, and ECR.
  • Familiarity with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling; Terraform with Atlantis is used internally.
  • Strong grasp of API design, including OpenAPI/REST contracts and code generation.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and async messaging patterns.
  • Comfort working across the full stack, from frontend UI work to backend service development.
  • Experience operating services with high reliability requirements, including SLOs, runbooks, and incident response.
  • Preferred: experience building multi-tenant SaaS portals or client-facing configuration tools.
  • Preferred: familiarity with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful and content pipeline architecture.
  • Preferred: experience with platform migrations and consolidating legacy systems while maintaining backward compatibility.
  • Preferred: background in hierarchical configuration systems or feature flag/settings management at scale.
  • Preferred: experience with GenAI integration, including AWS Bedrock, LLM proxying, and prompt engineering in product features.
  • Preferred: experience with OpenTelemetry and observability tooling; the team uses OTel with Observe.
  • Preferred: familiarity with data visualization and analytics dashboarding in client-facing products.
