Description

  • Develop, test, and maintain distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful/gRPC APIs.
  • Deploy scalable applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS infrastructure.
  • Build applications and scripts that interact with native operating system frameworks.
  • Use CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions to build, test, and release software safely.
  • Apply AI throughout software and product development lifecycles to improve user experience and testing.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams to develop reusable Vue.js components for full-stack initiatives.
  • Support device enrollment and management integrations across Apple, Android, and Windows platforms.
  • Participate in assigned engineering on-call shifts and respond to production alerts.
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed engineering teams in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional production software engineering experience.
  • Strong Golang experience and understanding of object-oriented backend environments.
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and backend API development.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS; GCP or Azure is also relevant.
  • Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, TypeScript, or other programming languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Strong software engineering design principles, patterns, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in ambiguity, communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and deliver incremental value.
  • Native OS development experience with Swift, Objective-C, or C++, and device management knowledge such as Apple MDM/DDM/ADE, Android Enterprise, or Windows MDM, preferred.
