Description

  • Lead hands-on development across greenfield and brownfield application initiatives.
  • Write, review, debug, and improve production-quality code across modern application stacks.
  • Solve complex technical problems through efficient, well-architected solutions.
  • Mentor junior consultants through code reviews, coaching, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and agents across coding and software delivery activities.
  • Extend AI use into story creation, requirements refinement, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Produce architectural documents, high-level designs, implementation plans, and reusable engineering assets.
  • Apply design patterns and identify anti-patterns across applications, APIs, and cloud-native systems.
  • Support quality, security, testing, DevSecOps, observability, and operational readiness.
  • Contribute to technical scoping, solutioning, pre-sales, and smaller pursuit activities.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in at least two of Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Strong ability to design, write, debug, and review complex application code.
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices.
  • Experience with test-driven development, testing strategies, and production-quality software.
  • Knowledge of architecture, design patterns, and anti-patterns.
  • Experience building modern applications, APIs, and cloud-native services.
  • Practical experience with security, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and production readiness.
  • Proficiency with AI development tools, especially Claude Code; experience with Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, or Continue.dev is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, communicate technical concepts clearly, and mentor engineers.
  • Consulting, automated software analysis, technical design, whiteboarding, community leadership, or pre-sales experience is preferred.
