Description

  • Implement the technical roadmap for infrastructure as code, CI/CD evolution, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Design, develop, and maintain self-service internal platforms that reduce developer friction and increase deployment velocity.
  • Own cloud cost optimization initiatives across AWS infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain multi-region infrastructure that meets high availability and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing systems using AIOps where appropriate.
  • Write and review production-grade automation code in Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure as code for reliable resource provisioning.
  • Architect, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Atlantis.
  • Manage container orchestration environments, including ingress configuration and GitOps workflows.
  • Integrate DevOps tools and APIs such as Jira, VictorOps, Slack, and Observe to support incident management and workflow automation.
  • Partner with engineering, quality, and security teams to align infrastructure work with product roadmaps and enforce automated testing and security gates.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Expert-level experience with AWS and multi-region, high-availability deployments.
  • Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including cluster management, networking, and scaling in production.
  • High proficiency with Terraform; experience with Atlantis is a plus.
  • Deep experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Mastery of scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, and tracing tools such as Datadog and Observe.
  • Strong understanding of SRE concepts including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
  • Experience acting as an Incident Commander or responding to high-severity outages.
  • Experience using AI-assisted productivity tools such as Cline or GitHub Copilot.
  • Occasional local or international travel and flexibility outside standard business hours may be required.
  • Ability to maintain a reliable internet connection, a professional remote work environment, and confidentiality while working remotely.
