Description

  • Develop tools and frameworks to automate operational tasks and deployments for portal and endpoint agent services in Azure and on end-user machines.
  • Build and evolve AI tooling for daily development workflows.
  • Continue development of the internally developed Go-based CLI.
  • Develop tools in test and production environments that accelerate development teams and improve partner experience.
  • Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Support product development teams in improving software architecture for scalability, reliability, cost, and performance.
  • Own improvements across internal developer platform and engineering workflows to help teams build, test, deploy, and operate software reliably at scale.
  • Influence system design, platform standards, and best practices for developer productivity, reliability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience running a large application in cloud environments.
  • Experience building and deploying applications into containerized environments.
  • High coding proficiency in Ruby, Go, or Python.
  • Experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD platforms.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal is a plus.
  • Experience with observability tools like DataDog or New Relic is a plus.
  • Experience building developer tooling that measurably improves productivity and work cycles.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for developers using the tools.
  • Ability to design and optimize workflows that bridge traditional development practices and AI-assisted engineering.
  • Solid background in software development, as this role is more Dev than Ops.
