Description

  • Develop and execute the strategy and playbook for driving new employer unit sales growth through assigned health plan and channel partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with sales leaders across assigned health plans and channel partnerships.
  • Develop and deploy new channel partnerships in coordination with the Strategy team and executive leadership.
  • Train health plan and channel partnership sales teams and account managers to present and close solutions.
  • Create weekly pipeline reports and maintain accurate sales forecasts, contact records, and opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Assist with proposals and presentations to ensure messaging is consistent and compelling.
  • Serve as a subject matter and sales expert for the assigned channel sales team to help demonstrate value and close deals.
  • Lead the sales process for employer unit sales, coordinating legal, finance, account management, contract execution, and implementation handoff.
  • Leverage executives, pre-sales, and services staff to support customer presentations.
  • Gather product and market feedback from customers, prospects, and partners and communicate insights to sales leadership, marketing, and product development.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of health plan or channel sales/business development experience.
  • Proven track record of building strategic relationships and driving growth in the employee benefits industry.
  • Experience building credibility and creating business value with Health Plan clinical thought leaders.
  • Ability to articulate the value of Transcarent’s capabilities in the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Experience serving as a thought leader around personalized healthcare and connected virtual care delivery.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
  • Comfort operating with C-suite executives.
  • Creative, dynamic, assertive, and able to drive growth in new and existing markets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen, high ethical standards, and personal integrity.

  • Salary range of $180,000 to $200,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for a corporate bonus program or sales incentive, with target included in OTE.
