Description

  • Own and grow revenue through key security and low-voltage distributors across the U.S.
  • Build and manage deep relationships with buyers, category managers, and regional sales leadership at strategic distributor accounts.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans to increase TP-Link share of wallet and competitive positioning.
  • Lead channel promotions, product launches, and go-to-market activities for distributor partners.
  • Conduct regular QBRs, forecasting sessions, and sales reviews to track progress against objectives.
  • Collaborate with distributor partners to forecast demand, manage inventory, and ensure product availability.
  • Build net new customer opportunities through training and education with consultants and installers.
  • Provide product and sales training to distributor sales teams to improve enablement and motivation to sell TP-Link.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and B2B Sales teams to align distributor activity with broader strategy.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity and translate insights into action.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development in networking, physical security, or a related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Hands-on experience managing key distributors such as ADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA, Pioneer Music Company, Silmar Electronics, or similar security distributors/resellers.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B market with a 2-tier distribution model (manufacturer → distributor → reseller/dealer).
  • Proven closing skills and strong communication ability across phone, written, presentation, and in-person settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and an ownership mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus CRM tools for tracking KPIs, pipeline, and account activity.
  • Ability to quickly learn product features and translate them into value for partners and end-users.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and adjust strategy.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for onsite distributor meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and events.

  • $120K-$150K annual salary range with a base salary and uncapped commission plan.
