Description

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop sales-ready leads through lead generation and cold outreach.
  • Lead client conversations, present Toptal’s perspective on innovation and experience, and uncover client needs through exploratory questions.
  • Build rapport with prospective enterprise clients through strategic outreach and industry-informed communication.
  • Research target clients and stay current on industry trends to support outreach and account strategy.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives, Client Partners, and internal team members to pursue opportunities and schedule qualified meetings.
  • Recommend appropriate follow-up actions and support the sales process from first contact through meeting qualification.
  • Contribute to demand generation strategy and tactics as the role becomes more established.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and strong data integrity in Salesforce.com.
  • Meet call, email, and other sales activity quotas and fully ramped objectives.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new SDRs and mentor newer team members over time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Enterprise SDR.
  • Authorized to work in the US at the time of hire; no visa sponsorship or assistance provided.
  • Resumes and communication must be submitted in English.
  • Broad understanding of business challenges faced by enterprise clients.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment with a wide variety of challenges and deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and SaaS outreach tools such as ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (learned during onboarding).
  • Preferred traits include perseverance, curiosity, conscientiousness, teamwork, and ownership.
