Description

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and close leads and opportunities in new targeted accounts and dormant accounts.
  • Manage inbound leads when needed and move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate interest and secure meetings.
  • Present Toptal’s value proposition and align it with customer needs to win new business.
  • Coordinate communication among stakeholders and follow up consistently to nurture leads toward conversion.
  • Build and expand relationships with new and existing clients to grow partnerships and revenue.
  • Contribute to evolving demand generation strategy and tactics as you ramp in the role.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and pipeline information in Salesforce.com.
  • Meet call, email, and quota targets, including fully ramped monthly and quarterly KPIs.
  • Support training and onboarding of new Account Executives and mentor newer team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 1 year of closing experience is required.
  • Ability to work remotely; this position does not offer visa sponsorship or assistance.
  • Resumes and communication must be submitted in English.
  • Strong persistence and resilience in the face of rejection.
  • Curiosity about people, problems, companies, and industries, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
  • Ability to work autonomously with ownership and accountability for accounts and outcomes.
  • Self-starter mindset with comfort prospecting for new accounts and following a structured process.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with or ability to learn tools such as SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, SalesNavigator, and Salesforce.com (preferred and/or role-relevant).
