Description

Lead the Client Engineering organization, including Core Architecture, Engineering Productivity, and Quality Engineering.
Own the technical direction and standards for Tide’s frontend.
Partner with Staff Engineers to shape a pragmatic frontend strategy.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in large-scale monorepo workflows.
Evaluate the frontend stack and workforce model to maximize engineering leverage.
Advocate for product virtualization and observability across all configurations.
Drive the delivery of a modern Release Engineering model.
Implement a comprehensive automation strategy for frequent, predictable deployments.
Provide thought leadership on using AI and agentic solutions in the client-side experience.
Lead Engineering Managers and collaborate with senior technical stakeholders on complex architectural challenges.

Requirements

Significant experience leading engineering organizations at high scale.
Deep understanding of frontend architecture and best practices.
Track record of improving efficiency and modernizing mobile release cycles.
Ability to navigate technical and organizational trade-offs in large transitions.
Strong collaboration skills and comfort debating technical decisions.
Systems thinking with an ability to connect technical foundations to team velocity.
Commercial judgment with the ability to align technical strategy to business goals.
Ability to communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with modern frontend ecosystems, including mobile and web applications.
Experience with large-scale monorepo environments and release engineering is preferred.
