Description

  • Hire, lead, and develop Forward Deployed Engineers embedded across Re:Build sites and resource center functions.
  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering services, and functional teams to identify operational challenges and digital solution opportunities.
  • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
  • Guide technical decisions, feature development, issue resolution, code reviews, and delivery execution.
  • Define engineering standards and coding practices supporting scalability, maintainability, and security.
  • Build reusable delivery assets, playbooks, documentation, and implementation approaches.
  • Establish post-deployment metrics and feedback processes to measure solution impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and promote AI-assisted development tools for code generation, review, and testing automation.
  • Track digital trends across AI, software development, manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and SaaS.
  • Travel domestically to customer sites approximately 25% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • MBA, relevant advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience leading customer-facing software delivery, implementation, solution engineering, consulting, or technical delivery programs.
  • 2+ years of people or technical leadership experience managing and developing technical teams.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on software development, solution engineering, integration development, or full-stack development experience.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, secure SDLC methodologies, and Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks.
  • Fluency in AI technologies applied to the software development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and cross-functional delivery management across multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, or engineering services preferred.
