Description

  • Manage all aspects of Community Philanthropy’s integrated fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email appeals, advertising, search engine marketing, mobile fundraising, and social media fundraising.
  • Develop segmentation strategies that apply direct and digital fundraising best practices and improve donor participation and engagement.
  • Lead project management in Asana for integrated fundraising campaigns and produce cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship materials across print and digital channels.
  • Coordinate with vendors such as the direct marketing agency, printers, mail house, and merge-purge partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fundraising agency and vendor partners of record.
  • Work closely with Individual Philanthropy, Development Operations, and Marketing, Communications & Content teams to ensure alignment of messaging and campaign execution.
  • Support donor data management and use data to inform fundraising campaign implementation.
  • Demonstrate strong planning, problem-solving, multitasking, and deadline management across complex projects.
  • Maintain attention to detail, accuracy, and collaborative communication in day-to-day work.
  • Support a workplace culture grounded in diversity, inclusion, belonging, ethical business practices, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of direct response marketing experience at an agency, nonprofit, or higher education institution.
  • Deep knowledge of direct response marketing and a proven track record in fundraising through individual gifts.
  • Experience with direct marketing best practices, including A/B testing, fundraising tests and controls, and writing/editing appeals for digital and print.
  • Prior experience with digital tools for email marketing and SMS/mobile giving platforms.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data and building data segmentation.
  • Familiarity with the Google platform, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Presentations.
  • Comfortable and efficient using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong working knowledge of fundraising software, with Salesforce preferred.
  • Understanding of donor acquisition, retention, digital giving, and moves management.
  • Experience creating HTML emails and SMS messages in platforms such as MailChimp and texting platforms.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.

  • Starting salary range of $74,880 to $83,200.
