Description

  • Lead full game development lifecycles from concept and pre-production through launch and live operations.
  • Translate creative direction into roadmaps, sprint goals, milestones, and deliverables with directors and discipline leads.
  • Design and improve production workflows across design, art, engineering, audio, and narrative teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks and risks, manage scope trade-offs, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate communication across teams, facilitate sprint rituals, and provide roadmap updates to studio leadership.
  • Use production metrics such as velocity, burndown, and capacity planning to optimize workflows and workloads.
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent work environment while maintaining accountability for delivery goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of game production experience, including at least one shipped title in a Senior, Lead, or Tech Producer role.
  • Experience managing full development lifecycles from concept through launch.
  • Proven ability to manage dependencies, handoffs, and workflows across engineering, design, art, audio, and narrative disciplines.
  • Expert-level Jira and Confluence proficiency, with experience applying Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks.
  • Ability to make pragmatic scope decisions while protecting the core player experience and critical deadlines.
  • Experience supporting post-launch updates, content drops, or live game operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills bridging creative and technical teams.
  • Experience shipping on PC and major console platforms, including certification processes preferred.
  • Experience coordinating co-development studios, vendors, or outsourcing partners preferred.
  • Technical literacy in game engines, backend dependencies, developer tools, content-heavy pipelines, or episodic releases preferred.

  • Annual base salary of $89,000–$152,000 USD depending on location, experience, qualifications, and work location.
