Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and faculty members.
  • Manage professional written and verbal communications with clients, faculty, and internal teams.
  • Develop, monitor, maintain, and reconcile project budgets.
  • Schedule and conduct project start-up, interim, and final meetings.
  • Establish and maintain project timelines and event schedules.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and on strategy.
  • Oversee project activities and manage daily account details.
  • Manage external suppliers and project resources.
  • Provide ongoing project updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development and assist with training new account team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Three to five years of relevant project management experience in a publications environment required.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization, multitasking, prioritization, and motivational abilities.
  • Ability to understand and retain scientific information, with strong technical aptitude.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with publication management platforms such as iEnvision/Datavision and PubStrat.
