Description

  • Calculate and administer sales commission payouts accurately and on time across the full sales organization.
  • Build and maintain reporting on quota attainment, budgets, and KPIs for individuals, teams, and regions.
  • Use Salesforce and related CRM systems to monitor pipeline coverage, pipeline health, and forecast predictability.
  • Partner with sales leadership to assess campaign effectiveness, lead quality, and funnel conversion rates.
  • Design dashboards and reports for executive audiences covering sales, operational, and compensation insights.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations to improve resource allocation, rep and regional performance, and profitability.
  • Translate performance and compensation data into strategic insights that support planning and cross-functional decisions.
  • Maintain data accuracy by reviewing sales data hygiene, lead enrichment, and process alignment.
  • Monitor performance against sales budgets and KPIs and surface trends, risks, and opportunities early.
  • Support modeling of variable compensation plans, quota structures, and incentive programs.
  • Contribute to month-end and quarter-end reporting tied to sales compensation accruals and financial close.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in sales operations, sales compensation, or financial analysis.
  • Hands-on experience working with complex sales and compensation data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including multi-tab workbooks, complex formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
  • Working experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for detail and data accuracy.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and collaborate with sales leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables against recurring deadlines.
  • Experience with commission calculation software or sales performance management platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or another data warehouse platform is a plus.
  • Background in the technology or media industry is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored work authorization or visa sponsorship.
