Description

  • Own end-to-end administration of U.S. employee benefits, including enrollment, open enrollment, life event changes, leaves of absence, retirement, and terminations.
  • Lead annual U.S. open enrollment and coordinate global enrollment activities with vendors and internal partners.
  • Administer the U.S. 401(k) retirement program, including enrollments, changes, distributions, and annual audits.
  • Maintain accurate benefits data in the HRIS and perform regular data quality checks, reporting, billing, and allocation support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers on benefits, claims, retirement, and status change questions.
  • Process and administer U.S. leaves of absence, including medical, personal, disability, and FMLA leaves.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. benefits and leave regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Support global benefits administration and align processes with established guidelines and best practices.
  • Partner with brokers, carriers, retirement providers, Payroll, and Finance to manage deductions, contributions, reconciliations, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Monitor benefits utilization, costs, and trends and recommend improvements to HR leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 3 years focused on U.S. benefits administration.
  • Demonstrated experience managing U.S. 401(k) retirement plans, including annual 401(k) audits.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. benefits and leave compliance requirements, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Experience working with benefits brokers, carriers, and HRIS or benefits administration platforms.
  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse cultures and time zones.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States; employer sponsorship is not provided.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-country workforce is a strong plus.
