Description

  • Build and maintain best-of-breed products as part of a nimble development team.
  • Develop a new service that manages certificates for internal services.
  • Design and build high-impact backend services and APIs.
  • Create scalable, observable, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Collaborate within a development team to deliver internal platform capabilities.
  • Support production systems and respond quickly when issues arise.
  • Write automated tests as part of the development process.
  • Balance rapid delivery with long-term code maintainability and supportability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • CS degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience designing and building high-performance backend services and APIs.
  • Knowledge of at least one of Golang (preferred), Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Java.
  • Experience with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or other infrastructure technology.
  • Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like Git and Jenkins.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management systems is a plus.
  • Strong judgment for balancing speed of development with maintainability and supportability.
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot production issues under pressure.
  • Familiarity with modern server-side and browser-side frameworks and the ability to learn new tools.
