Description

  • Contribute to key architectural decisions for the site generation and site builder platform.
  • Design and build cloud-native APIs, services, and front-end experiences across the platform.
  • Own major features and services that support website building workflows.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to deliver AI-powered site building experiences.
  • Write clean, testable, and scalable code across the stack.
  • Support a large-scale re-imagining of the Site Generation and Site Builder experience.
  • Work independently toward well-defined outcomes while coordinating with cross-functional partners.
  • Deliver high-impact improvements to the platform architecture and customer-facing product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience, with a backend lean.
  • Experience supporting a product from MVP to scale through rapid iterations.
  • Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience with scalable microservice architecture; AWS experience preferred.
  • Solid command of GraphQL, event-driven systems such as Kafka or SQS, and distributed databases.
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools; experience developing AI-driven solutions is a plus.
  • Claude Code experience is required.
  • Track record of delivering high-quality features in rapid prototyping environments and incorporating feedback quickly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with limited product and design guidance.
  • Customer-first mindset with empathy for internal and external stakeholder needs.
