Description

  • Build scalable full-stack services, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, toolchains, and internal platforms that support developer workflows.
  • Partner with engineering teams across the company to understand their needs, identify pain points, and improve development workflows.
  • Design self-service developer platforms that reduce cognitive load and help teams move from code to production faster.
  • Improve reliability, performance, scalability, and observability across distributed systems by introducing new tools and features.
  • Monitor system performance and health and proactively resolve issues before they affect users.
  • Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
  • Support internal developer productivity through platform and tooling enhancements.
  • Work across organizational boundaries to drive initiatives that improve engineering efficiency and delivery speed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
  • Strong background in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or C++.
  • Experience building applications with modern front-end technologies such as React or Vue.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to turn ambiguous goals into software requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Preferred experience in the AV industry or robotics.
  • Preferred deep expertise with monorepo development tools and services such as Bazel.
  • Preferred experience supporting P1 and P0 systems on-call.
  • Preferred experience with AI/LLM integration, including building or extending Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
