Description

  • Oversee the Northeast SLED sales team and serve as the primary sales leader across the territory from Maine to Virginia.
  • Directly manage and develop a team of 6–8 Director of Strategic Accounts individual contributors.
  • Run weekly one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, and deal coaching sessions with team members.
  • Develop and prepare actionable strategic sales plans for each named account in collaboration with partner and channel resources.
  • Maintain awareness of regional contractual obligations and coordinate customer meetings and communications related to deliverables.
  • Drive the team to meet and exceed assigned revenue targets and quota goals.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and ramping of top sales talent in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Own forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene at the team level.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience selling to named accounts within the SLED vertical.
  • 5–10+ years of proven sales leadership experience with a leading software company.
  • Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and network operations environment preferred.
  • History of exceptional quota attainment required.
  • Enterprise sales experience with a deep network of SLED decision makers.
  • Strong reporting discipline with the ability to manage metrics, forecast accuracy, and pipeline hygiene.
  • Ability to travel across the territory from Maine to Virginia.
  • Hands-on, player/coach leadership style with a strong drive to overachieve on quota goals.
  • Experience partnering with Talent Acquisition to recruit, onboard, and ramp sales talent.
