Description

  • Develop and execute a regional customer acquisition strategy to grow revenue and bookings.
  • Serve as the primary sales leader for regional enterprise accounts.
  • Partner with Tanium’s partner and channel resources to create strategic sales plans for named accounts.
  • Maintain visibility into key contractual obligations and coordinate customer meetings and communications as needed.
  • Run weekly forecast meetings and coach the team on strategies to close business.
  • Report regional sales activity and forecast updates to sales leadership.
  • Lead and manage a regional sales team of 4-8 directors and enterprise account managers.
  • Coach direct reports on creating and executing effective account plans.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor new Account Executives on sales processes.
  • Travel up to 50% as needed for the role.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of proven sales leadership experience.
  • Enterprise software sales experience as both an individual contributor and sales leader.
  • Experience managing a top-performing sales team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and network operations environment.
  • Proven history of exceptional quota attainment.
  • Knowledge of reporting metrics and deal-closing practices.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A strong "whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above-quota performance.
