Description

  • Target, manage, and sell to new and existing customers while exceeding revenue quota goals.
  • Partner with Pre-Sales Engineers to deliver demos, discovery sessions, and technical solutions aligned to customer needs.
  • Work with SDRs to create outreach campaigns and generate sales pipeline.
  • Qualify and manage inbound leads through the sales funnel.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, coordinating with internal teams such as Professional Services, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Legal, and Marketing.
  • Engage channel partners and alliances to expand market reach.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success on client reviews and account management.
  • Create and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
  • Provide feedback to product management and marketing based on customer and market insights.
  • Build compelling presentations and business cases for proof-of-value, professional services, and commercial proposals.

Requirements

  • Experience selling B2B software applications, especially SaaS, security solutions, or IT infrastructure management solutions.
  • Proven track record of selling to technical audiences, including IT Operations, Security, and Dev/Ops leaders and practitioners.
  • Experience engaging with economic buyers, including C-level stakeholders and procurement teams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver persuasive messaging.
  • Ability to manage territory planning, prioritization, and forecasting across multiple accounts.
  • In-depth knowledge of the relevant industry and marketplace, including trends, best practices, competitive practices, and regulatory issues.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Working knowledge of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Challenger.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment.
  • Preferred: consistent history of being in the top 10% of sales performers and a creative, consultative approach to selling.
