Description

  • Lead the annual sales compensation plan design cycle for specific sales teams and secure stakeholder input and approval.
  • Implement measurable compensation plan metrics that align with company priorities.
  • Own the rollout, enablement, and communication of compensation plans.
  • Measure compensation plan effectiveness quantitatively and apply findings to future plan design.
  • Propose, evaluate, design, and measure the effectiveness of SPIFFs.
  • Serve as the main contact for sales leadership on aligning objectives with compensation programs.
  • Own and update sales compensation resources and annual sales credit policies.
  • Represent sales compensation impacts in company strategy discussions with stakeholders such as Product.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the sales function, product priorities, and sales team differences.
  • Support the commission calculation close process as needed.

Requirements

  • BS or BA in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, or Statistics.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Compensation role.
  • 2+ years as a key point of contact with senior Sales, Finance, and HR leadership.
  • 3+ years leading the sales compensation design process.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and ICM tools such as Captivate IQ, Varicent, or Xactly.
  • Experience with reporting tools and Tableau.
  • Strong logic, problem-solving, and Excel modeling skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments and administering complex programs.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate with, and influence Sales, Finance, and Business Applications partners.
  • Preferred: competence using AI tools to improve impact and productivity.
  • Preferred: experience in Sales or Sales Operations roles.
  • Preferred: SQL programming experience.
