Description

  • Audit and overhaul the current onboarding playbook into a streamlined, automated, repeatable process.
  • Manage, coach, and upskill a team of Onboarding Specialists.
  • Set clear expectations and help build a high-performance team culture.
  • Partner with Sales to create seamless customer handoffs.
  • Work with Customer Success to ensure long-term customer health is built into implementation.
  • Reduce Time-to-Value and improve customer activation during the first 90 days.
  • Track and report key onboarding metrics such as Time-to-Value, activation rates, team capacity, CSAT, and churn.
  • Identify root causes of friction and remove bottlenecks in the onboarding process.
  • Build workflows that improve efficiency while maintaining a high-touch customer experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role within Onboarding, Implementation, or Customer Success.
  • Proven experience managing implementation or onboarding teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • SaaS experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience leading teams through change, a pivot, or a process overhaul.
  • Demonstrated process optimization experience, including reducing onboarding friction or shortening implementation cycles.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including navigating difficult conversations with Sales or Product teams.
  • Understanding of Customer Success and how the first 30/60/90 days affect customer lifetime value.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Jira, or Gainsight, or similar platforms, is preferred.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Experience in a turnaround environment fixing a broken department or process is preferred.
