Description

  • Manage a portfolio of mid-market customer accounts and engage proactively at least 180 days before renewal.
  • Lead the full renewal cycle, including forecasting, negotiation, and closure.
  • Identify and qualify expansion and upsell opportunities during renewal discussions.
  • Build positive relationships with customer stakeholders and communicate Elastic’s value proposition.
  • Track and report renewal status, risk, and forecast updates in Salesforce (SFDC) and other reporting tools.
  • Partner with sales, legal, operations, and customer success teams to resolve issues and streamline renewal processes.
  • Stay current on new product capabilities and educate customers on Elastic’s evolving solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven success managing mid-market renewals or account portfolios in a SaaS subscription environment.
  • Deep understanding of renewal and retention processes, including forecasting, risk mitigation, and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple renewal cycles and prioritize strategic engagements effectively.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) and data management standards.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to creating value and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Passion for technology, analytics, and open source solutions.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Prior experience in a renewals-specific or mid-market account management role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, or Cloud solutions is preferred.
  • Experience working in a data-driven, cross-functional environment with strong commercial ownership is preferred.
