Description

  • Develop software solutions by analyzing acceptance requirements, documentation, system workflows, and problem areas throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Organize and lead collaborative solution design sessions with the team.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members through coaching and educational guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Team and Product Owner to define clear and complete acceptance criteria.
  • Write unit, acceptance, and integration tests to support software quality.
  • Own services and applications at scale and make informed software decisions.
  • Recruit and participate in the interview process to help grow engineering teams.
  • Stay current on software engineering practices and apply improvements where appropriate.
  • Protect confidential company information and handle sensitive business data responsibly.

Requirements

  • Experience in server-side software development, ideally with TypeScript, Go, or Vue.
  • Experience with relational databases, ideally Postgres.
  • Experience with asynchronous processing using message queues and background job workers.
  • Third-party API integration experience, including REST, OAuth, and webhooks.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing, as well as API and database testing.
  • Familiarity with static analysis, code quality, and security tooling, including secure coding practices such as OWASP Top 10.
  • Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability tooling.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including infrastructure to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes.
  • Demonstrated mentoring and training experience.
  • Strong documentation habits.
  • Agile environment experience.
  • Experience building complex web systems successfully delivered to customers.
  • Ability to design and deliver features iteratively in a team environment.
  • Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, provide estimates, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional software engineering best practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and deployments.
  • Experience integrating with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, including SuiteScript, RESTlets, and OAuth 1.0 TBA.
  • Experience with e-signature platforms such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign, including embedded signing, envelopes, and webhooks.
  • Experience in fintech or other regulated industries handling sensitive PII, payment, or tax data.
  • Experience with SSO or identity providers such as Auth0.
  • Experience integrating financial or verification services, such as bank account verification, routing/SWIFT validation, or SMS 2FA.
  • Familiarity with Redis-backed sessions, caching, and queue architectures.
  • Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines or similar CI/CD platforms deploying to AWS EKS or Kubernetes.
  • Must be available to work standard business hours and occasional nights/weekends.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $145,000 to $160,000 depending on experience.
  • Fully remote work within the Continental United States.
  • In-person visits to the Denver headquarters only about three times per year.
