Description

  • Build and manage a public-sector deal pipeline across U.S. SLED and federal government markets.
  • Implement pipeline management, forecasting, and performance metrics to create predictable sales results.
  • Define ideal customer profiles and package SpruceID’s offerings into targeted, needs-based solutions for government audiences.
  • Establish consistent CRM processes and data hygiene to track leads, opportunities, and outcomes accurately.
  • Launch outbound campaigns and inbound lead-generation programs to create and sustain qualified deal flow.
  • Work with delivery, security, legal, and product teams to navigate procurement, compliance, and security review requirements.
  • Lead initial strategic deals from outreach through negotiation and close, converting early services-led wins into repeatable product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align sales activity with solution delivery and long-term scaling.
  • Support government customer engagements and attend company gatherings through significant travel as needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or business development, with significant public sector focus.
  • Proven success selling to state and federal government customers and navigating RFPs, procurement processes, and security reviews.
  • Experience working with delivery, security, and legal teams to win complex government contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale sales systems and processes from the ground up.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong, data-driven sales management approach with hands-on CRM, pipeline analytics, and forecasting experience.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills across product, engineering, delivery, and executive teams.
  • Based in the U.S. and willing to travel significantly for on-site government engagements and company events.

Benefits

  • Fully remote role within the U.S.
  • Base salary of $140,000 to $225,000 per year.
  • Performance-based bonuses may be included.
  • Equity may be included as part of compensation.
  • Benefits package included.
