Description

  • Lead technical discovery and design scalable, cost-effective solutions for proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and new client engagements.
  • Own end-to-end estimation and ensure delivery estimates are grounded in real engineering effort.
  • Bridge Sales and Delivery to align proposals, expectations, and execution plans.
  • Prepare technical proposal content including solution descriptions, architecture diagrams, assumptions, risks, and delivery approaches.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for prospective clients and present solution strategy to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Own and evolve solution architecture across backend services, data storage, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Run architecture reviews and design workshops, and maintain target architecture vision across engagements.
  • Define and maintain architecture artefacts such as diagrams, data flows, non-functional requirements, technical guidelines, and ADRs.
  • Provide hands-on guidance through design sessions, technical reviews, spikes, and proofs of concept.
  • Support AI enablement by selecting, adapting, and onboarding teams to AI-assisted development tools and workflows.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • 3+ years designing complex software architectures in multi-stack environments.
  • Experience across the full SDLC, including distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, scalable APIs, data-driven solutions, and enterprise integrations.
  • Practical experience with relational databases, distributed caching, replication, and enterprise search engines.
  • Experience architecting on at least one major cloud platform with containerization and orchestration.
  • Working knowledge of managed cloud services and a habit of continuously learning new platforms, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Practical understanding of AI/GenAI and agentic development, including agents, LLM behavior, context management, and AI coding harnesses.
  • Ability to work with ML engineers on OCR, Computer Vision, fraud detection, RAG, and agentic solutions without being a deep ML modeling specialist.
  • Strong estimation skills and experience defending estimates to Sales and Delivery.
  • Prior experience in pre-sales, technical discovery, or solution consulting is required; coaching and enablement experience is preferred.
