Description

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of software engineers delivering professional services for customers.
  • Gather system requirements from end users, IT teams, and stakeholders for Service Catalog and integrations work.
  • Design and implement ServiceNow customizations based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and support rollout of new applications, modules, and configurations.
  • Configure workflows, UI elements, work orders, transfer orders, inventory, and technician locations.
  • Develop and support Flow Designer, business rules, scripting, integrations, and logic implementations.
  • Build and configure integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Mentor project team members through peer reviews and technical guidance.
  • Validate impact assessment rules, service maps, and event management work with SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Promote update sets and data across ServiceNow environments, and remediate related production incidents.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience supporting ServiceNow implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development in ITSM, Service Catalogs, and integrations.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using MID Servers and cloud-to-cloud approaches.
  • Experience with Web Services integration, including SOAP and REST, and bi-directional automated system integrations.
  • Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC, or ETL integrations.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes.
  • Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation.
  • Strong experience in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • A four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred certifications include ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, and ServiceNow CAD.
