Description

  • Work directly with clients and the Forward Deployed Executive to understand the function from the inside and redesign it from first principles.
  • Reach working fluency in new domains such as insurance underwriting, healthcare revenue cycle, or asset flow.
  • Design and ship production GenAI systems in customer environments, including cloud-native, LLM-based, and agentic AI solutions.
  • Implement and optimize RAG systems for production use cases.
  • Build evaluation harnesses and define measurable success criteria before feature development begins.
  • Write production code across AI, backend services, and data pipelines.
  • Take systems to production on AWS, or GCP/Azure when required, with containers, CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.
  • Lead architecture reviews, produce technical design documents, contribute to standards, and mentor other engineers.
  • Own the technical direction of proposals and scoping, including adoption and change management.
  • Work as a pair with the FDX to deliver measurable business outcomes for the client.

Requirements

  • 7+ years building and running production systems.
  • Strong AI/ML foundations with the ability to reason about model behavior and failure modes.
  • Experience designing and shipping production LLM applications and agentic workflows, not demos or notebooks.
  • Experience with agentic orchestration, including multi-step workflows, graph-based orchestration, tool use, state management, and recovery from partial failure.
  • Experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI, and agent frameworks.
  • Experience building and optimizing RAG systems in production.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on AWS production experience with services such as Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, and ECR; GCP or Azure is a plus.
  • Cloud-native delivery experience with containers, ECS or Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD for AI pipelines.
  • Experience building and owning eval suites for non-deterministic systems.
  • Experience with model and agent monitoring, drift detection, cost control, and latency optimization.
  • Hands-on production experience with the Claude ecosystem, including Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks, and skills files; spec-driven development is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work proactively, handle ambiguity, collaborate across distributed multicultural teams, and communicate in B2+ English.
  • Ability to produce scoped delivery plans with deliverables, dependencies, risks, and cost estimates.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, consulting, or customer-facing embedded delivery is preferred.
  • AWS and Claude Code certifications, additional language experience, MCP, A2A, CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, and data tools like Spark, Airflow, or Kafka are nice to have.
