Description

  • Lead individual contributors and team leads through 1:1s, coaching, feedback, development, and retention support.
  • Serve as the senior engineering contact for client stakeholders and translate ambiguous requests into execution plans.
  • Coordinate delivery across frontend, backend, DevOps, platform, and tooling workstreams.
  • Partner with technical leads on architecture, dependencies, ownership, and trade-offs.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, staffing, resource planning, and team productivity during client delays.
  • Identify and resolve delivery, budget, scope, communication, and process breakdowns proactively.
  • Lead AI tooling, upskilling, and workflow adoption tied to productivity and code-review quality.
  • Communicate delivery metrics, technical decisions, and AI outcomes as client value.
  • Balance immediate delivery needs with long-term team health and technical sustainability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams.
  • Experience with technical delivery leadership, preferably in an agency, consultancy, or client-embedded environment.
  • Exceptional written, asynchronous, live, cross-cultural communication and mediation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience personally driving AI adoption in an engineering team with measurable outcomes.
  • Technical fluency across modern architecture, SDLC, and stacks such as React, Vue, Angular, Node.js, Python, Java, or C#.
  • Experience coordinating multiple teams or workstreams, including staffing, onboarding, interviewing, and resource planning.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and commercial skills, including explaining technical and AI-driven value to clients.
  • Systems-thinking, proactive problem-solving, decisive ownership, and comfort operating amid ambiguity.
  • Experience with distributed teams, internal developer platforms, MCP-style tooling, or prototype-to-production workflows is preferred.
  • Must be based in Brazil; production coding is not the primary focus, but hands-on delivery involvement is expected.
