Description

  • Define and own the Data & AI product roadmap, tying initiatives to GMV, margin, conversion, operating cost, or fraud-loss outcomes.
  • Lead pricing and valuation products for used electronics and cars, including seller instant quotes, price recommendations, and dynamic pricing.
  • Identify, size, and deliver AI/ML use cases such as search ranking, recommendations, fraud scoring, condition grading, listing creation, and customer-support automation.
  • Own the data platform product with data engineering, including pipelines, data models, warehouse architecture, event tracking, and standards for quality, lineage, documentation, and access.
  • Use SQL to explore datasets, define tracking schemas and data contracts, review data models, and validate solutions against business needs.
  • Translate business problems into ML and analytics problem statements, including evaluation metrics, success criteria, and guardrails.
  • Develop business cases and make build-versus-buy decisions for data and AI solutions, considering ROI and infrastructure costs.
  • Drive adoption of self-serve analytics, trusted KPI definitions, and dashboards across Commercial, Operations, Finance, and leadership.
  • Monitor launched models and data products for performance, drift, data quality, and business impact, and iterate as needed.
  • Ensure compliant and responsible data and AI use under Saudi PDPL and SDAIA guidance.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of product management experience, including substantial work on data platforms, ML/AI products, or data-intensive products.
  • Advanced SQL and data-engineering-level knowledge of data modelling, dimensional/star schemas, ETL/ELT, and event tracking.
  • Familiarity with modern data-stack tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, Airflow, and Kafka.
  • Understanding of the ML lifecycle, including problem framing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and MLOps.
  • Knowledge of modern GenAI techniques, including RAG, prompt design, and vendor APIs.
  • Track record of shipping AI/ML or data products to production with measurable business impact.
  • Commercial acumen and experience linking data or AI products to revenue, margin, or cost outcomes through business cases.
  • Ability to independently set direction, unblock teams, and make well-reasoned decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills across engineering, data science, commercial stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Fluent English; Arabic is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a data engineer, analytics engineer, or data scientist is preferred.
  • Experience with pricing engines, marketplaces, e-commerce, automotive, or fintech risk and fraud is preferred.
  • Experience with computer vision, Arabic NLP, PDPL, data governance, or GCC data regulations is preferred.
