Description

  • Own the top-of-funnel enterprise sales motion and help create the outbound BDR playbook.
  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound qualification.
  • Run discovery calls to assess PBM challenges, pain points, renewal timelines, and decision criteria.
  • Set high-quality meetings and hand off early-stage engaged accounts to Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales leadership to build outreach sequences, call talk tracks, and value-led messaging.
  • Research target companies and add qualified prospects to outbound lists.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene by logging activity, attribution, conversion metrics, notes, and next steps.
  • Build and manage pipeline through warm outreach and outbound prospecting campaigns.
  • Develop detailed account research on target accounts, including buying committee structure and broker/consultant influences.
  • Experiment with and iterate on outreach plays to build foundational BDR processes.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in BDR, SDR, or inside sales roles.
  • Experience in enterprise healthcare or employer benefits is a plus, including PBM, health plan, care navigation, or digital health.
  • Proven track record of hitting pipeline targets in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Excellent listening, research, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Comfort speaking with HR/Benefits leaders, CFO/Finance stakeholders, and consultants.
  • Fluency with CRM and sequencing tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or Salesloft.
  • Experience with data tools such as ZoomInfo, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • A builder’s mindset with experience experimenting, measuring, and iterating on outreach plays.
  • Experience selling into benefits consultants/brokers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PBM mechanics, including rebates, formularies, and pass-through versus spread pricing, is preferred.
