Description

  • Build, advance, and maintain a sales pipeline aligned to quota and forecasting expectations.
  • Identify, qualify, progress, and close public safety technology opportunities within a prescribed territory.
  • Work closely with public safety agencies to support their operations and improve citizen experiences through tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrate software solutions to agency leadership and end users.
  • Use MEDDPICC to qualify deals and manage progression through the sales cycle.
  • Leverage AI-driven sales tools to identify opportunities, personalize outreach, and improve pipeline management.
  • Communicate value propositions using Challenger Sales principles and persona-based value mapping.
  • Manage sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in Salesforce CRM.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to adapt sales strategy.
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights to help improve products, services, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of selling experience, including 3-5+ years selling public safety technology such as CAD, RMS, or related software/hardware to government agencies.
  • Experience managing sophisticated, long-duration B2G sales cycles from lead development through close.
  • Demonstrated success meeting sales quotas and growing pipelines in net-new territories.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC and Challenger Sale frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong applications background and understanding of software systems.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for complex sales transactions and issue resolution.
  • Ability to engage internal and external clients, peers, and management in a polished, professional manner.
  • Proven self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative and ownership of a sales territory.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Must comply with FBI CJIS Security Policy, pass a fingerprint-based background check, and obtain and maintain required security clearances.
