Description

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales pipeline across assigned territory and accounts.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account and territory plan.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Communicate Obsidian Security’s value proposition to prospective customers.
  • Align with partners and alliances to maximize opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Customer Support to advance deals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM management.
  • Participate in sales enablement training.
  • Manage customer relationships and build new relationships across IT Security and other business lines.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and market conditions that may affect customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
  • Experience evangelizing new technology into Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Ability to maintain and manage existing client relationships and accounts.
  • Ability to use existing C-level relationships and build new relationships across IT Security and other business lines.
  • Strong prospecting, deal qualification, and POV management skills.
  • Ability to capture accurate and complete pipeline information in CRM systems, including activity, forecasts, close ratios, and market intelligence.
  • Strong ability to understand customer business issues and map them to solution value.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and partners to close opportunities.
  • Ability to learn quickly and ramp up on product differentiation.
  • 100% remote role with a location preference in the Boston metro region and the ability to travel within and outside the region.
