Description

  • Build and manage broker and General Agent relationships across the assigned geographic market to support growth goals.
  • Identify and develop distribution partner relationships over time.
  • Train brokers and GA partners on the company’s product.
  • Represent the product at local broker and community events, including some evening and weekend events.
  • Test new growth opportunities and share learnings with the broader sales team.
  • Partner with internal teams to improve tools and processes that make the product easier to work with in the market.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals while providing strong service to distribution partners.
  • Provide local competitive intelligence and market research.
  • Serve as the voice of brokers and consumers within the product organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of healthcare industry experience in an outside sales role.
  • 3+ years of experience presenting and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must be a licensed insurance professional.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
  • Must reside in North Carolina.
  • Ability to work remotely from a home office with frequent client travel.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Availability for occasional evening and/or weekend events.
  • Experience in broker or General Agent relationship management preferred.
