Description

  • Collaborate with customers to support implementation projects across Smile Digital Health products and services.
  • Configure the Smile platform, write scripts, troubleshoot issues, and design technical solutions.
  • Provide architectural guidance for custom customer solutions.
  • Develop expertise in Smile’s core technologies and healthcare data standards, working with internal subject matter experts as needed.
  • Manage priorities across multiple concurrent projects and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Work with customer-facing teams to support the profitability of professional services engagements.
  • Support and mentor technical support analysts through troubleshooting and development assistance.
  • Participate in the on-call support rotation for after-hours customer assistance.
  • Support the development and evaluation of RFIs and RFPs to help win new business.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java and JavaScript development.
  • Proven expertise in Spring, REST, SQL, and Git.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering software solutions independently and in collaborative teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with internal and external clients and teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with comfort managing a broad range of high-level issues.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including leading meetings and documenting ideas.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare open standards such as HL7 v2, FHIR, or CCDA.
  • Preferred: Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ or other MQ systems, MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Preferred: Experience in Python and JavaScript.
  • Preferred: Healthcare system experience.
  • Preferred: Cloud development experience with AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and iterative methodologies.
  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
