Description

  • Design and implement web-based applications mostly independently.
  • Gather product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement and test system components across the development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain product and support documentation.
  • Analyze requirements and propose high-level designs and technical approaches.
  • Evaluate solutions for interoperability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Adhere to team and department coding standards.
  • Participate in and provide final approval for code reviews.
  • Research technologies for new and existing solution modules.
  • Break down work for team members and serve as the go-to person for project issues and status.
  • Guide and mentor associate-level software developers.
  • Track and report billable hours accurately in Netsuite and use project management tools fully.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, SQL, and Git.
  • Experience developing middleware products and working with unit test practices and transaction processing.
  • Ability to create and maintain clear documentation.
  • Ability to maintain repositories with a focus on code health and quality.
  • Experience with end-to-end feature development.
  • Knowledge or experience in healthcare, HL7, or FHIR is an asset but not required.
