Description

  • Partner with Commercial and Enterprise sales teams, including New Business, Expansion, Customer Success, and Professional Services.
  • Develop account knowledge, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools.
  • Set qualified prospect meetings with Sales Executives.
  • Prospect strategically into key accounts and contacts.
  • Conduct engaging phone and email conversations with prospects.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Smartsheet products and services.
  • Generate appointments through email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and other sales tools.
  • Manage multiple outbound sequence campaigns in the sales engagement platform.
  • Record and document all activity in Salesforce.com.
  • Monitor social channels for opportunities and participate in outbound social marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow with a strong work ethic.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, driven, and resilient mindset.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and present Smartsheet as a solution.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and time demands while meeting production goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for new technologies and technical concepts.
  • Experience using a CRM, sales engagement platform, and prospecting tools preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely from the Mountain to Pacific coast region.
  • Ability to contribute effectively to team efforts.
