Description

  • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing enterprise SaaS sales team, including Regional Directors and Account Executives.
  • Drive strategy and lead the team to consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives.
  • Develop and execute plans to increase senior executive relationships with C-level leaders.
  • Build trust-based relationships across Product & Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • Develop pricing and packaging approaches and strengthen product expertise to win large, complex deals.
  • Lead all major sales management disciplines, including account planning, territory planning, opportunity planning, forecasting, and professional development.
  • Coach Regional Directors and Account Executives in a solution-based sales process to acquire new logos.
  • Identify and champion solutions to remove barriers that inhibit growth.
  • Use core applications such as Smartsheet, Clari, Altify, Salesforce.com, Chorus, Tableau, LinkedIn, and DiscoverOrg to manage the business.
  • Support large deal motions, including account planning, executive alignment, and value hypothesis development.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales objectives while leading enterprise SaaS sales teams and driving new business growth across multiple segments.
  • Proven ability to execute land-and-expand sales strategies that grow accounts into enterprise-standard solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain value-based relationships with C-level executives.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, including second-line management leading strategic software teams, preferably Strategic Account SaaS teams.
  • 10+ years of experience in the software industry with recent enterprise SaaS experience, preferably in business applications selling to sales, marketing, HR, finance, or manufacturing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask, work cross-functionally, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience using sales methodologies such as MEDDICC.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving, high-growth company.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required; MBA preferred.
